About Me

My name is Lindsay Tait and this is my fifteenth year at Plant High School. In that time, I have taught a variety of science courses, but have focused primarily on chemistry. This will be my sixth year teaching AP Chemistry and third year teaching AP Research, the third year of the Capstone Diploma program. I have taught Chemistry Honors off and on for over 10 years.

I am a Tampa native, graduating from Hillsborough High School’s International Baccalaureate Program. From there I attended the University of Miami in South Florida before transferring to Eckerd College in St. Pete. I graduated from Eckerd with a B. S. in Marine Science and a minor in Chemistry. I also haveĀ a M. Ed. in Instructional Technology from USF.

I reside in South Tampa area with my husband, fellow Plant teacher Robert Tait and our daughter, Scarlett, who will be staring kindergarten this year.
